international airport with flights arriving and departing to the Gulf, Europe
and the U.S.A. Both the domestic and international air terminals have official
taxi kiosks close to the exit area of the airport. .

Nearest railhead is Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram ) Central.
Thiruvananthapuram is connected by rail with many important cities. Both
broad gauge and metre gauge services operate to the city.

There is direct and regular daily bus service from Thiruvananthapuram. There
are direct bus links to Ernakulam and Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin), which is
two hours away. There is also a bus to Periyar Wildlife sanctuary in
Thekaddy.
